About CMN Hospitals
  • Who are CMN Hospitals

    • Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals began as a small, televised fundraiser in a small studio in 1983. Marie Osmond and John Schneider co-founded the effort along with a small-dedicated team of 20 children’s hospitals, 20 television stations, six sponsors and a handful of national staff.
    • Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has evolved into a worldwide force in fundraising, raising nearly $4 billion over the past 27 years.
    • The 170 premier hospitals affiliated with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals help 17 million kids each year; even with an effort of such magnitude, there are still 7 million children that go without adequate medical care.
    • This year alone, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals will provide charity care worth billions, yet these children’s hospitals depend on community support to help fund their vital services.
    • Since 1986, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped raise more than $8.3 million for children in central Illinois.
    • One hundred percent of the money raised goes directly to programs for children in our area. None of the money is sent to national headquarters and none is spent on administrative costs.
    • Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are on the front lines of preventing disease and injury through research, education and outreach programs that keep millions of kids out of the hospital each year.
    • Cure Kids Cancer is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals initiative designed to raise funds and awareness for 170 local pediatric programs.
    • Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provide diagnosis, life-saving cancer treatments, cutting edge research and pediatric cancer educations programs that help children with cancer and their families find hope for the future.
    • Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals treat 88% of all pediatric cancer patients in North America.
